My Berlin Visit Highlights

In Germany a lot of things are different. The light switches are square push things instead of little flicker things and the outlets are big and have only two holes instead of three . The kitchen stuff is teeny-tiny and the closets look like they are from Ikea (which there are three of in Berlin).
We can walk everywhere! And if it’s not walking distance you can take the subway . The subway is so cool! All it take is a ticket (if it’s a weekend and you are under fourteen you don’ t need one) and you can go basically anywhere! There is absolutely no way you can get lost in a train station. S/U-Bahn Map of Berlin. We lived in Rüdesheimer Platz on the U3 line, which is a green line, right under the big brown ring. The ends of the line are Krumme Lanke and Nollendorf Platz.
All the food is delicious here! My favorite restaurant is Tuk-tuk (an Indonesian restaurant). The bologna has a monkey face on it and the bread is great. Also, the ice cream shop is just down the street so we can just walk there.
We went to Lutherstadt, Wittenburg, the place where Martin Luther lived, preached and was buried. We went to the church where he is right now and there was a big tower, which we went all the way up!
WE SAW THE REAL NEFERTITI BUST! The Egyptian exhibit was so cool! We also saw the Rosetta Stone and a mummy case (coffin).
The Spectrum Hands-On museum was so cool! Our family's favorite floor was probably the 2nd. It had lots of physics things. There was a big drum and if you hit it a big blast of wind came out, it almost knocked me down! Probably my little sister's favorite thing was the big two-person pendulum swing . One person would start swinging and when that person got fast, they would slow down and the other person would start getting faster and vice-versa. My other sister's favorite thing was a spinney thing that would slow down when you stood up and speed up when you got lower . My favorite thing was the Mad House, which was a house that would spin around you and you would sit on a bench. It look like you were spinning around and you would fall on your head! There were so many things that I can't tell you all about them so here are some pictures: My little sister could lift me up with this! Funny, huh! You would spin the wheel really fast and turn it and then you would turn! I think that was my favorite museum of all the millions that we have been to!
